World Wide Packaging LLC. (WWP) has released its new Silver Oval Tube, with 100% hot stamp effect to offer a high-end look to packages. The hot stamp covers the entire 50mm tube from the entire shoulder into the crimp, and offers a metallized look to the cap to match the metal foil of the tube. The copy on the tube looks like it’s printed, but it’s not. The text is actually “knocked out” so the actual tube is showing through to form the copy or lettering. This process to make the lettering legible is both complex and difficult. According to WWP, it is the first beauty company to offer hot stamping in this capacity. To date, WWP has worked with Halston and Scott Barnes, Hard Candy to bring this product to market.
